MPI Equipment – Test Bench Units
Our test bench units will detect and locate fatigue cracks or processing defects in ferrous components, using the ‘wet continuous’ method of magnetic particle inspection.
With a wide range of units available, we can help you choose the bench that is best suited to your needs.
The D-2060 with CE is one of our most powerful wet magnetic benches, providing 6,000 amps of 3-phase Full Wave Direct Current and an optional 6,000 amps of Alternating Current. This inspection equipment offers magnetisation to find surface and sub-surface defects with clearer indications while using minimal power.
The two outputs are independently adjustable to set each magnetic field, circular or longitudinal, at distinct levels.
For more information, see the Product Data Sheet.
The MAG 40 units are medium-duty machines which can inspect components up to 1 metre in length. It is ideal for low-volume testing in machine shops, tool rooms, foundries and similar plants.

Our Ferroflux benches detect longitudinal and transversal cracks in two separate sequential steps. The standard systems are suitable for testing work pieces with clamping lengths from 400 mm up to a maximum of 3615 mm; we can also supply special clamping lengths if you need them.
All Ferroflux benches are supplied with external power packs to feed the magnetisation circuits and, if required, can be equipped with darkening cabins, an exhaust fan and a light fixture.
