Our customer, an aerospace MRO company, needed to test a titanium inlet valve. Normally, they would use our solvent remover to remove excess penetrant but, in this case, solvents were not permitted due to the complexity, location and the material specifications of the valve.

After consultation with the customer, we recommended our remover/emulsifier ZYGLO® ZR-10C. The customer applied a diluted version of  ZR-10C gently using a brush, then removed the excess penetrant with water.

The lesson here is that a very simple adaption of technique allowed them to solve the problem with materials that they already had available, so no extra cost was incurred.
